This policy applies to Hosts Assist, the app for short-term rental hosts, and to this marketing site. It's operated as a solo project, not a large company — but your data gets taken seriously either way.
When you become a Hosts Assist customer, we collect the information you give us directly: your email address, and the property/booking/expense/payout data you enter to use the app. We don't collect payment card details through the app — billing is arranged manually by email and invoice.
Your account data is used only to run the app for you — showing your bookings, calculating your reconciliation figures, generating your invoices. It is never used to train any model, and it is never sold or rented to anyone.
Data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure, encrypted in transit and at rest. Each customer's account is structurally isolated from every other customer's — there is no shared table or query that spans accounts, so one customer's data is never visible to another.
We don't share your data with third parties, except the infrastructure providers required to run the service itself (Google Firebase for hosting and storage, and a standard email provider for sending invoices and notifications).
If this policy changes in a way that materially affects how your data is handled, we'll email the address on your account before it takes effect.
